I have the 8.0, beautiful build quality. It has 3x10 gearing (newer version has belt), alloy matching mud guards, panier rack and built in Pure 3 lights with dynamo hub. Rigid fork but I will fit fatter tyres (not sure what yet, maybe Swalbe All Road or Marathon).

Good review with practical info. I am, being a bloke, interested in the Womens version of the Ghost Square Cross Essential as I like the low bar in the front. Just trying to work out whether the Large size in it will be big enough for a 6 foot 1er like myself.

The only weakness I think I can see in the bike - unless I missed them - are mounting points for a rear rack. At 2.08 it looks like there are mounting points but I am unsure.
