Bought a gaming phone with built in controller from Huawei and not only did the battery give out within 3 months of the purchase, but the touch screen failed and the controller deteriorated extremely fast as well. Still waiting on my refund that they'll probably never send. Chinese products are awful.

To be fair: smartphones of all manufacturers can explode and we had the exploding Samsung 10 (?) which even became a meme. So some random videos are not really proving anything. Sometimes the phone isn't even close enough to identify.
I don't want to say that it's not a thing but.... That's no evidence.

My mom used to have Huawei in 2016 it was fine, its still working to this day. You just have to understand that all devices with batteries are dangerous and might explode, even iPhone. Samsung have to recall all of his phones when they start exploding in 2017.

And that's why I have either Xiaomi or POCO in Android... Yeah it's a Chinese brand, but when it comes to their global versions, they have those made in either HK or Taiwan.... They are also cost more than Infinix, but they wouldn't spontaneously combust🤣🤣🤣
