Hello Pat, slowly catching up on your videos. I particularly like this one, as well as the courage you show in setting out to explain Gnostic Philosophy. Your explanations are as clear for Gnostic waters are muddied by their complexity.

I think that in their effort to imagine a transcendent God, who does not have emotions or a will, or is incapable of changing his mind, they have actually created a God who is less than human. I'll take the God of the Old Testament - he's good enough for me. I feel comfortable with him because I am made in his image.
