One thing that everyone seems to miss out in a get home pack is foot care. You're likely to end up walking a lot further than you're used to. Pack blister plasters, Moleskin tape, and ideally a spare pair of socks as a minimum.

Well thought out. There is always "one more thing to add" but you may want to consider a light weight Mora sheath knife and swapping out the light for a headlamp.

That's 1 of the best and most realistic set ups that I've seen on you tube. My 2 add on suggestions would be a cell phone charger and a light weight battery pack to recharge your phone off of. Everything else is perfect though!

I too carry a edc bag. Always use the rear pouch, easiest access, if you turn like your cowering you can draw, and leaves other pockets that need to be opened available for other necessities.

A few extra pairs of rubber gloves are always good to have. I wear them under my outer gloves. They keep your hands loads warmer and if your gloves get wet your hands stay warmer.

I have the same pack for years now. Carry it everyday when I have to drive downtown. It holds a lot of stuff

It's really nice! Since I live in Sweden, it's very hard to get a licence for carrying a concealed pistol, but a lot of the other stuf got me thinking of changing some of my get home bag. Keep up the good work!

A bag is a bag. The contents matter more.
Paper map and compass?
More room to add/remove clothing inc spare socks.

Nice video, Looks very well thought out.
Dollar General sells boxes (24 count) or Slim-Jims for under $7. And Lipton Cup-A-Soups packets are also pretty cheap. Between the two, you could make a pretty quick soup to keep you going, and they won't take up that much room or add that much weight.
Good video, I enjoy it. Thanks for sharing it.

Good size bag, since you can also put it under a hoodie

Add yak trax. I wear my pepper spray on the shoulder strap, where I can get to it in a couple seconds

Great set up, well thought out. May I recommend a folded-up trash bag? If the situation calls for it, you can put the bag inside it and hide the tactical-ness of it from others. In an urban environment plastic trash bags have a stigma of gross, don't touch. They have other purposes as well. Again, very cool.

Lots of good suggestions by previous posters. Here are mine. I am old and slow so I will take longer to get home. I keep a hiking staff in my vehicle. Helps a lot walking and can be used as a weapon. Individual alcohol wipes are cheap, light and multi purpose. Clean a wound, sanitize a knife or start a fire. Single use sanitary wipes are also cheap and light. Clean a wound, wipe your butt or other parts. Tea candles. You can make a mini heater out of a beverage can with that multi tool. I like your filter bottle but I carry a Life Straw and a stainless single wall bottle because it can be heated. Where you live you would be able to melt snow. In that cold consider a few packs of hot chocolate mix. Maybe some just add hot water dry pack food. I will have to check out those jelly beans. I kept a well equipped blizzard kit in my vehicle when I lived in snow country. Too heavy to carry but it would keep you alive if you got stranded.
Something else to consider is the ammo for your Shield. You may be looking at heavy winter clothing which will affect JHP's ability to function the way it should. My Hellcat with 12 rounds of Norma NXD 65 grain fluted bullets weighs 22 oz. Soft barrier blind. Also less recoil for faster follow up.

I have many neat things in my faraday sling bag.. Lock picks and breaching tools, NFC scanner, radio frequency scanner, LoRa module, external battery pack, flashlight, waterproof plasma lighter, pocket knife and multi tool.. Glock 26 with extra clip..

Great video. I suggest the Exotac lighter case however to prevent the lighter from getting wet👌🏻

I use a sling pack with lvl 3 armor plate in it. It’s always in beta with constant changes and layouts. Foot wear is important. Breaking and evading as well. I focus more on stealth than long term survival.

Good video. Consider removing your tourniquet from its wrapper. If you have an arterial bleed you'll have about 2 minutes to respond before loosing motor control and conciseness. Not to mention, your hands will likely be very slippery at that point.

Re: firearms, any specific reasons you want to carry it in the bag and not on your person? I also consider it is a risk when off-body carry.
