As a physician with more loans than most, I’d say let’s just reduce the interest rate in these loans from the current 6.5% to say 1%. The tax payers don’t get shafted. The government still makes billions of student loans. And now one is trapped watching $200k in loans become $500k due to ridiculous interest rates. Same applies even if the loans are smaller
