They need to restructure how they give out loans. There needs to be a cap and the schools need to drop tuition prices by 75 percent. the schools and Loan agencies have become absolutely predatory.

So they trying to forgive student loan debt but what about the people that didn’t goto school because they didn’t want to be in debt or the ppl who went to school and already paid off loans? That’s not fair. College is a personal choice just like getting a car loan. If you don’t want to deal with debt then don’t volunteer to put yourself in debt so tax payers can bail y’all out 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

They need to focus on capping tuition and student loan interest rate. Both have skyrocketed exponentially from year-to-year! It’s insane and predatory. The education system puts so much pressure on these students to pursue higher education, without ever talking about the reality of the inflated cost of their tuition and what taking a loan will be like to pay back over a lifetime.

These institutions and financial companies truly prey on young citizens who just want a good future. They push people to go into debt through shame and pressure.

Here is an idea, allow borrowers to declare bankruptcy, and then charge the university the deficit. Watch how quick they lower tuition, stop all the unnecessary perks, stop giving loans to unqualified people, problem solved

Totally disagree. worked two jobs paying for my two children's college degrees. Of course there is a need for financial help but not full forgiveness. Have a lower payment plan or some other generous offer. Just not fair to all the thousands that struggled over the years to pay off debt. Plus its us that ultimately pay for this "forgiveness" through our taxes. Talk about adding salt to the wound! I WILL not vote for Biden.
