It's not romantic love. Though, I believe passionate characters are always on some level magnetic (Its like being around a celebrity). She smiles while teaching him because in that moment he reminds her of herself. And (if i remember correctly) it was her father who taught her combat as a child, which makes it a high form of affection for her to show a non blood relation her moves. It's likely closer to the being the love of a big sister, then the love of a partner. Also, there is an isolation element to her role as under cover as agent. She doesn't get to be herself often. And its not actually healthy to always have to wear a mask. So she's refreshed by the experience that lets her be authentic, even if only for a second.
