On one hand you can complain about how they're being chill with Annie after what she's done. But at this point they, especially Armin, have shed a lot of blood. So they understand one another that they did the things because they needed to do it. Not because they wanted to do it. There's a difference. That's why they know they cannot judge one another. That would be hypocritical. And it's because of this understanding that in a weird way they forgive each other. Because both are human and both are monsters

Annie has always struck me as an unnecessarily cruel enemy. As a cadet, she acted like a psycho. I was very confused seeing them rebond with her so quickly.
