One of my favorite movies ever. A classic Good vs Evil story heavy handed with fantasy tropes but done fine. While there are flaws it is so much fun and heartwarming and Mad Martigan is one of the best fantasy characters ever, Val Kilmer just absolutely killed it. Hot take but Vals best role. Always love watching this movie

Took my kids to this movie we all loved it. Bought the VHS tape which we watched over the years. Still have it. Latest Willow on Disney plus really sucks! Makes me angry.

Of course, all of those character types are very clearly character tropes in stories. I could use scholarly literary terms or literary slang for all of the characters in either of the movies.

Willow was okay. It's worst problems were pacing (the movie doesn't really pick up till we get to Mad Martigan, ) and some of the editing/continuity is a little sloppy, especially in the fight scenes. The rest of the production was top notch. I wish the baby had a bigger part in the story. She was just a Macguffin to be carried around. I was hoping she'd have some Baby Yoda powers or something.

Haven't seen any of these movies, but i love Warwick Davis in Star Wars and Leprechaun. Because of this, it's quite high on my to watch list.

I haven't checked out the series yet but I honestly don't like this original movie. It's not really my thing but I can see how people enjoy it. The show on the other hand looks a lot more interesting in my opinion.

I found this movie in a box. I miss these classic "good VS evil" stories. And a midget rescue mission.
