In this lesson we'll review schematic symbols for common fluid power devices including fluid conductors, prime movers, pumps, reservoirs, actuators, directional control valves, check valves, flow control valves, pressure control valves, instrumentation, fluid conditioning devices, and special purpose ancillary devices like accumulators, intensifiers, manual shut off valves, manual pumps, and rotary hydraulic couplings. It is a very good refresher to identifying different valves and their basic operation, I am surely sharing this to linkedin as many technicians in the industry who hasn't had any training on schematics and hydraulic circuits and their operation can benefit tremendously. Hello Jim ....I am really very impressed by the way you teach. Initially I felt the teaching was too fast paced but now listening over past few weeks has made me more comfortable. I would say these are the best hydraulic series I have ever seen on you tube. The extent of your knowledge and experience is commendable. Thx for that. I had one query. My daily work is related to John Deere tractors and as youust have heard they are very technologically advanced tractor with lots of hydraulic and electronic schematics. They are a mix of both. Over the years I have developed myself on the hydraulic concepts and this series of yours is just addingvto my knowledge Bank. But I would also like to learn more basic about electronic and how they are controlling the hydraulic circuit and components. I saw your series on "electronically controlled hydraulic systems". So will it be sufficient or is there any other series I should subscribe from your videos. As well I wanted to study more on engine controllers, transmission controllers, relays, sensors, CAN bus communication. I get lot of fear when dealing with these electro hydraulic circuit. Can you please guide me how do I improve on these concepts
