Saw another short where they grew potatoes in large canvas grow bags. I can see why- no digging into the hard ground hunting for mature potatoes.

Quick question, if your potatoes don’t have sprouts, can you just line leave it outside for a couple days? Thanks!

I thought the sprouts were the roots. 😢 I put mine in a jar of water in the windowsill with the sprouts in the water. I guess this is wrong. Anyone, please help.

Why don’t you tell them when to plant them ?? Don’t just plant them when they bud and it’s better to chit them meaning to cut them and allow the inner part to harden or as we tater farmers say, scab over !

This is actually really bad advice because grocery store potatoes are not seed certified. This means they might not be free of diseases like potato blight (which may also affect other similar plants like tomatoes). Seed potatoes are too cheap to take this risk imo
