Bioware needs to earn my trust back, I bought Andromeda and was burned so I passed on Anthem and don't regret that. I'm waiting for reviews, Mortismals in particular. For a single player game there is no reason to grab it right away, a few more days of waiting make no difference.

Lore implications are definitely interesting but I have a rule against buying RPGs at launch

One correction to your video. The blood dragon armor is a pre-order exclusive not tied to the deluxe edition. The deluxe edition gives you a separate cosmetic armor set for the rogue, mage, and warrior for rook and then one for each companion and then some weapon cosmetics.

This trailer was miles better than the last trailer. I'm genuinely excited to see more now. It definitely showed off less cartoonishy bits and a little more dark stuff. Gernerally I would like to see the game lean more in to grim dark territory but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm optimistic, and so far the more details we get, the more I like. I recently saw that Bryony Corrigan from the Goes Wrong Show and Hell or High Rollers plays Rook. That's such a great choice. Hoping for more good news.

This trailer looks better esthetically. I do agree that needs to be a proper showcase of mechanics. Who knows it might turn out ok

You do realize they completely removed companion controls.. which means players won't have any control over how your companions does in combat, like mages stop fighting in order to throw a heal on someome, or a rogue potitioning themselves correctly behind an enemy.. etc etc.

The game seems more promising now, and the characters look better than in the previous trailers. Looking forward to giving this a try.

I'm still worried with 2 things: why they are hiding mage's gameplay and why so limited info on companions, mainly the Qunari?

Looks good enough to me to take a chance on it. I loved every DA game and the writers on-board are vets. I will probably pre-order. Im a sucker for blood dragon armor. But im holding off until the last days.

I do actually think cosmetic is important to a lot of people regardless of review style. The whole package of buying a game isn't black and white. It may have rubbish cosmetics and good game play and vice-versa. It generally comes together when it has both.
