A two-year study by Stanford University found an impressive increase in work productivity from remote workers. It also found that people who worked remotely were 50 percent less likely to leave for another company.

Remote work also saves money for both employees and employers. U.S. companies with remote employees saved an estimated $5 billion in 2018. Remote workers save, on average, $7,000 a year—costs that would have gone toward commuting, food, and clothing.

One thing that has worked for me is writing the next day's to-do list the night before. It helps me get out of bed the next day with some pep because I already know what goals I have to crush! Also, taking breaks to watch informative webinars has made me feel productive and that I'm making the most of this time.
