Stop Doing This if You Want to Build More Muscle.

The squeeze is the most overrated thing in bodybuilding. Period.

For years, we've been told to hold the squeeze for that mind-muscle connection and a good pump. But guess what? It’s not building muscle like you think.

Research shows that the stretched position is far superior for muscle growth compared to the squeeze. In fact, skipping the squeeze can result in more growth.

So, instead of focusing on exercises with tension in the contracted position, opt for movements emphasizing the stretch. If you love that juicy squeeze, go for it, but remember, your time and energy might be better spent elsewhere for maximum gains.

Time under tension. More stress on muscle, if you cannot complete another full rep but can hold the squeeze for longer stressing the muscle further it only makes sense to do so.

Do what works for you. Use the squeeze. Use the eccentric. Use consistency. Use progressive overload. I can tell you I've gained about 50 lbs of muscle over many years naturally, going from a skinny ripped 125 lbs when I started to 200 lbs 17% bf bulk, and now sitting nicely at 185 lbs at 5'10. Bench hit 385 before a minor shoulder injury. 18" arms on a hardgainer "ectomorph" type body look nasty. Just remember, diet is probably 70% of your gainz. This took years... its not going to happen overnight.

Bro great physique but I think you should work on making your neck thicker, it has a massive effect on masculinity.
