McDonald's signature burger is not as popular as it once was. According to a recent memo written by a McDonald's franchisee, only one in five millennials has ever had a Big Mac. So we had millennials try one for the first time.

I don't mind the extra bun in the middle. My theory is that it complements the Burger; it accents without overwhelming some of the flavour out of the special sauce, and it compliments the burger from being too meaty. Call it filler or whatever you want - I don't mind it.

I would agree a bigger burger like Shake Shack is probably preferred when thinking about fast food burgers in a vacuum. But Big Macs have such a distinct taste with the sauce it has its own special place in terms of fast food burgers. I like it and it’s my favorite McDonald’s burger
