Not Minecraft, But Water Rises or Minecraft, But Lava Rises, or any other but challenge like that. This is a speed run / speed runner of Minecraft against a killer / assassin but it is me trying to speed run Minecraft like Dream does, however this is Minecraft, But I used a Tier List to rank all of the updates in Minecraft.

Man you underrated 1.7 imo. It added Savannah’s, Mesa’s, Dark Forests, ice spikes, the mega taiga, flower forest (and all the flowers except for dandelions), sunflower plains, birch forests, and readded the snowless taiga from Minecraft beta.

1.7.10 is also when Minecraft peaked at its popularity, and was the most technically stable version of the game to ever exist

1.7 added more then two biomes! Heck they added HALF the biomes we know today! And name tags! Stained glass! Truly underrated…

New combat = good for singleplayer
Old combat = good for multiplayer

1.19 wasn't too special, but I absolutely love the Deep Dark and the Warden. It adds a lot more story and mystery to the game, and it kind of needed that in my opinion. It's also a spooky place, and I like that. It would have been so much better if 1.17, 1.18, and the 1.19 Deep Dark were all released together. And that 1.19 included the mangrove swamps and the cherry blossom biomes, and I would have liked to have fireflies and a better birch forest. Anything left over would be good for 1.20. 1.21 has to be an End, Desert or Deep Dark Dimension update in my opinion.

1.13 was good but THEY NEED TO ADD BETTER CRAWLING ANIMATIONS

1.16 and 1.18 were definitely my favorites (also kind of unrelated to the update itself but I think that 1.18 had the best title screen background)

0:55 I learned English by PLAYING Minecraft! I'm still glad to this day that I did, because my English wouldn't be as good as it is today if I never played Minecraft.

Finally a good video

Edit: Okay nevermind, making 1.5 “good” is an understatement. It changes the whole game

Bro, 1.7 basically doubled the biome count and added a ton of variety to the game, it's at least low Good Tier.

4:00 this is a myth.
Although elytras were added in 1.9, the ability to use firework rockets was added in 1.11.
1.11 revolutionised:
Redstone: observer
Inventory: shulkerbox (irreneweble)
Hardcore: totem (irrenewable)
Travel: elytra rocketing
1.11 should have been called the endgame update. I don't know if I like it, none of it was balanced at all.

7:40 the Bizzy bees and village and pillage update merged in my head so I always think they were the same

3:13 Mojang called 1.7 “The Update That Changed The World”, when it barely added anything

S tier:

- 1.16: New tool tier, anchor pvp go boom, blue fire, fireproof wood, renewable shulker shells, use for gold helmets, new uses for gold, 2b2t-like volcano biome, nether now worth exploring and even building endgame bases in, instead of people only just barely putting up with its shit because they’re forced to if they wanna beat the game
- 1.14: Saved Minecraft, neat new textures, better version of the bow, lots of QOL changes: custom villager professions, renewable totems, a new storage *block* (not entity) for more efficient storage rooms in bases, game now recognizes bases with villagers in them as “villages” more easily, convenient crafting-table variants

A tier:

- 1.13: New uncraftable and rare weapon, added easier TNT dupe exploit for JE (but loses points for making that unplayable without Optifine on most machines), oceans now have more than just one thing to explore, extremely fast-growing plant you can make into a really efficient fuel source, realized Notch’s old dream of adding fish as mobs
- 1.18: Vertically expanded the Overworld for the first time since the build limit’s doubling from 128 to 256 years ago, you now actually have to use skill to go mining instead of just strip-mining at y12 to find everything, added the much-anticipated cave changes to make them more unique and interesting. Loses points for being postponed and for no Deep Dark or Warden yet, though.

B-tier:

- 1.9 (I’ll probably get screamed at for this but idc): Better boats and ranged-mob AIs, rare enchantment that makes your gear repair itself, elytras (but made them too rare for how quickly all the ships can be looted on servers), getting stuck in water with skeletons nearby is no longer a death sentence thanks to shields, end crystal pvp is lulzy. Loses points for being so polarizing for its sudden pvp changes with no input from the community, to the point that said community almost died as a result of the combat overhaul.
- 1.15: Honey blocks being unaffected by slime blocks but still doing the same thing when moved by pistons greatly expanded redstone possibilities, the bees are almost as cute as the pandas, lots of bug fixes, slightly better for server performance. Loses points for how little it added compared to the two gameplay-upending updates that bookended it.
- 1.19: I always love to see a new tree to add to my wood collection, semi-automated item collection while mining via the first new tameable mob added since 1.12, and FINALLY THE WARDENS AND WIRELESS REDSTONE THEY PROMISED! Loses points for fireflies only being in the game for like one snapshot, though.
- 1.20: Got a bit of hate from those who were expecting the next 1.16 but I think it’s OK to have relatively small updates every now and then to focus on patching old bugs and a few QOL additions like custom armor and two cool new woodsets. Also, it forces you to explore the bastions, adds incentive to visit most structures (even changing the desert and jungle ones for the first time in years) and finally added archaeology (can’t wait to walk past shrines to the pottery gods on servers lol). Loses points for the year-long wait, but hey at least it’ll come while I don’t have college and actually have free time for 3 months.
- 1.11: Portable storage boxes to greatly expand inventory, base storage and e-chest capacity; totems of undying made hardcore mode a viable challenge for those who don’t have the survival instincts of Ph1lza.

C-tier:

- 1.17: Overpromised and underdelivered, was split up into two (and yet a mega-update that upended an entire dimension came out only months before it)

F-tier:

- 1.10: Laziest update in MC history, added virtually nothing and was so miniscule that they could’ve just made it a revision of 1.9.

very glad you put buzzy bees in good!!! a lot of people discount 1.15 because it didnt add a whole bunch but it makes sense since it was the off update instead of the main one

Unpopular opinion but I actually like the 1.9+ combat system. It's very balanced, you don't need a good mouse, and it's very satisfying to two-shot mobs in early game using just a stone axe. And shields are awesome!
