Venus Fly Trap Restoration Time Lapse (170 Days)

Показать описание
We found a dying carnivorous Venus flytrap on the clearance shelf while shopping. To revive her, we first started with removing all the dried leaves. Then we re-potted it into a terrarium.
About half a month later, new leaves started appearing and developing to the full-size traps. We fed it with some insects and worms. The Venus fly trap took around 7 to 15 days to digest its prey. Trap-leaves were growing bigger gradually over time.

Cooool! You ought to put this video to some death metal 😀 thanks for the vid! I'm reviving a fly trap right now for the first time ever...and the baby traps are coming up bright red! I'm so excited!

Don't snip off leaves if they're not fully blackened yet, it's still drawing energy back from them

Is that one plant with multiple mouths? Or multiple plants with just one mouth each?

I have a question! I haven’t been able to feed it. And it’s growing and healthy but its traps are always green and not red anymore. Should I try to feed it ? Also there’s a huge tail piece of the plant that just rose up from the soil, are more traps gonna emerge from it? Because it’s gotten a bulbous top but it’s not sprouting and it’s been a week and it’s not sprouting or anything!

How many hours of light does it get? And what kind of light do you use?

Interessant, hab auch so Carnivoren.. allerdings alle im Topf. Aber wie das aussieht bei dir kriegen die Wurzeln unten deutlich mehr Luft was denen anscheinend gut tut, ich probier das auch mal aus.
