The second concert I ever attended was in this sweaty, un-air conditioned venue in Munich, Germany. Designed to seat perhaps 1200, there must have been 2000 of us crammed in that creaky, old wooden structure. It was 1969 and I was fourteen years old.
Later that summer Alvin Lee and his band Ten Years After played on the last day of the infamous Woodstock Music Festival back in the States.
