Zelle is not the problem. Gullible people are the problem.

Scam and fraud are way different.

Scam the customer send the money thinking they are getting something.

Fraud a third party gains access that is not authorized and steals money.

I mean if you aren’t comfortable sending money, don’t send money! This is one of the rare cases that I don’t believe the banks are at fault.
