Dont put in an extra button just use the existing on/off switch. There are tutorials

Why didn't you just wire on on off switch to the on/off switch on the arcade1up panel? Very easy to do.

Nice work. I am think of making a SkullGirls version with a PC in it.
You can throw a cheap dell optiplex in there and run a lot of better games.
