Sounds like something Elliot helped write as part of his life experience, the POV of someone who's dealing with returning to their "old life" and adjusting to what their new reality is. The line; "you didn't see how much I was hurting" seems so true for anyone hiding their mental pain, hopefully this does well showing a different side of te trans experience. Not enough trans actors have a chance to show their own life experiences, or people will care for their truth when it's outside their own limited world view

I genuinely think she wishes she hadnt done it. I think she regrets it. You can tell how miserable she is. She seemed much happier as a woman. I don't think she thought things through at all. She said she punched herself in the face over and over one night. Obviously a thing a very mentally ill person would do. And then at that moment decided she might be trans and would try it out. So...that tells you everything you need to know. So now she is at this point where she is not only trying to convince the world, she's trying to convince herself she is happy and made the right decision. It's very sad
