Ive now heard a few speeches and interviews with Doug. I like him but nothing really clicked. Other than him giving me major Mike Birbiglia vibes, which I'm about. But this speech was his best and really made me vibe with him. Maybe he's settling into this campaigning business, feeling more natural with it. He's talked a number of times how this isn't his scene. This speech definitely makes it seem like it's becoming his scene. Go Doug!!
