6 FT PENINSULA AQUARIUM BUILD | NEW TANK & MONSTER FILTER

I AM BUILDING A NEW AQUARIUM SETUP. A PENINSULA AQUARIUM TO SEPARATE A BEDROOM SPACE.

AFTER SHOPPING AROUND FOR A WHILE, I FINALLY FOUND MY TANK, A NEW AQUEON / ALL GLASS AQUARIUM 125 GALLON TANK. THIS IS A 72" X 18" X 24" TANK. NOW I CAN MOVE ON TO DESIGN THE STAND SINCE I HAVE THE ACTUAL DIMENSIONS OF THE TANK.

THE NEW FILTER IS AN EHEIM 2260 / 2262 CANISTER FILTER.

My heart skipped a beat after I saw that Eheim 1500XL/2260; I yearn for that behemoth. You see, almost every other YouTuber bows to Fluval's FX6, but this filter took my interest solely based on its generous interior space and freedom of choosing any/every kind of media you want. Thanks for using it (I can't wait to own one...someday soon).

nice. youll have to confirm the glass isnt tempered before you can drill it. tempered tanks cannot be drilled.

Bro don't know how I missed this first time around, I'm slacking. Great pickups, I would not drill that tank, she's a beauty. Your eHeim Will do just fine on that 125. Perfect choice in my opinion. Looking forward to seeing your stand. PEACE ✌!

Sumps are the best filters - no question --- They are not what I prefer, I'm not sure why. But this I know, if you think you are ever going to add a sump, drill it out before you set it up. Once it's set up, a 125g aquarium is a royal pain to tear down - storing fish too. How many of us have enough extra aquariums to handle 125g worth of fish? I do, but I don't want to set up 3 or 4 more tanks out of my store room - for a short-term use. ;-)

Your copying me lol I have the same filter only difference I upgraded my tank to 6x2x2 them filters are super I think I have my diy over flow system for the filter somewhere on my channel.
