Great tip on that grab bar on the rear mounts. Thanks for taking the time to review these. I was on the fence about the N3's, but not I'm planning to replace all four shocks on my '98 XJ with them.

I live in the Detroit metro area. I'm replacing my OME's with a pair of N3's on the back of my 09 Liberty (lifted 3inch). I welcome the stiff ride. When I want a softride, I fire up the VW Atlas or the minivan. But potholes, cracks, etc.. are the norm around here. Knowing my everyday driver (the jeep) isn't going to leave part of it's behind, behind when I hit a hole. I'm over 60 so I don't need to ride on a cloud. Great video. Love the rig.

Buy Bilstein! No regrets. I gave up on RC crap. 12 to 18 months I had to replace them only after highway and street riding. Bilstein is the shock everybody needs.

Not sure about the new n3 shock but the older 2.2 was a static shock. No rebound. It held suspension up and down. They worked great on washboard roads but didn't last for shit.

Those "flag" nuts on the rear shocks are a repair item for the commonly broken rusted upper rear shock
Bolt issue

Good vid
I wanna point out that control arm drop brackets are needed when we lift an
Or any 4x4
The control arm geometry gets thrown off when you lift it. The angle from axle to body should be a straight as possible
The angle on yours is pretty extreme. Just like mine was.
A little research you'll see what im sayin. Anyways RC sells a nice kit for upper and lower control arm brackets. Its mind blowing the difference it makes
The other option will be "long arms". More $ but great too

What is the long term review of these shocks? Did you take them off road?

Kudos for not having to take the wheels off!

What do you think about the N3s now that you have been driving for a while? Looking at purchasing some. I don't want a really stiff ride but not mushy either.
