US spy chief on circumstances of Putin using nukes, prolonged Ukraine 'war', Russian generals killed

Vladimir Putin appears to be preparing for a long conflict top US intelligence officials said on Tuesday when testifying before the Senate Armed Services committee.

While they do not believe Putin would authorize the use of nuclear weapons unless the Russian leader perceived "an existential threat" to the his country.

US intelligence officials told the hearing that the Russians and the Ukrainians were "at a bit of a stalemate".

But Haines also raised warnings of the uncertainties of the ongoing "war" and the unpredictable catalysts.

At the hearing, Lt. Gen. Scott Berrier, who leads the Defense Intelligence Agency told the senators that eight to 10 Russian generals have been killed during the conflict.

He explained the heavy loss is because Russia lacks a non-commissioned officer corps its generals have to go forward into combat zones and end up in dangerous positions.

But Multiple reports claimed last week that US intelligence is helping Ukraine kill Russian Generals and sink its flagship "Moskova".

And Biden was reportedly furious about the leaks.

Kremlin has not yet responded to it.

Meanwhile, in E. Ukraine's Odesa, missiles struck several buildings overnight and shook home nearby.

One person was killed and five people were injured, Ukraine's armed forces claimed.

As usual US assessments are mostly flawed.
The fact they still believe Russia lost in the fight for Kiev showed how faulty is their level of assessments.
It is a clear as day light that Russia never intended to take Kiev.
They did a peaceful withdrawal and Kiev only reoccupied the areas like say in Bucha . Russian soldiers just left and Ukrainian forces just occupied it not that Russia lost there.

It is also obvious Russia is concentrated on the Donbas and South and even Odessa as a powerful piece of trump card.

Since Nato had put in maximum pressures, why should he stop ?
