2:07 — Raise the front of the car and secure on supports.
3:12 — Unscrew the fasteners connecting the suspension strut to the steering knuckle.
5:05 — Remove the shock absorber dust cap and the bump stop.
7:06 — Install the shock strut into the wheel arch.
9:27 — Screw in the wheel bolts.

It was comforting to note that the hub to strut bolts were already at torque before torquing them.

So the socket that spreads the hub so the shocker comes put easier what is the part number for that

Much better video than the first attempt! However I always clean and regrease the thrust bearing it only takes 10 minutes, and will then be good for many thousands of miles.
As someone has already commented using a trolly jack and axle stands the job is a nightmare (I think that is an understatement).
Thanks for the video though. Anybody reading Haynes will be told to take off the caliper and disc and that's wrong.

So simple when working on a high vehicle lift and with a transmission telescopic jack. I didn’t see these tools listed... try doing it on axle stands, it’s a nightmare.

Where would you find the part numbers for the rubber bumpers at each end of the bonnet / air chamber rubber seal?
