Stunning tune which I first heard sung by Jean Ritchie in the early 60s. She recorded it much in the same fashion as this tasteful rendition, in the 1950s.

Currently addicted to this song. Can't get enough since watching the American Epic series. There's a Dolly Parton quality to Ashley's vocal, but with a bit a bit more smokiness -- simply perfect.
