Than you for this video. Critical thinking is more important than I initially thought it would be. It is important to advance in politically, economically, and socially. To become the best version of ourselves in every avenue, we must continue to practice critical thinking.

Two simple one-word questions have helped me: Why? and Really?

Great video, especially given today's climate where people just "follow" ideas blindly and don't stop to ask "why?"
Sadly common sense is not so common and there's nothing wrong with following someone or ideal, etc., but people should always be asking "does this make sense?"

IMO, critical thinking should be a required class in high school. I took a class (and a few philosophy courses) in university and they helped change my outlook on life, but also how to "think". Not saying I'm perfect, it's a life long journey on self improvement!

Great advice.. I Have been poor in my writing skills. Most of the time I feel my mind runs so much faster, then how can I organize the information on a sheet of paper...

Here when I asked the above questions to myself, my critical thinking mind is rushing to find the answer myself 🙂

The only real purpose of education is to differentiate what we know and what we don't know.
And we will never know, what we don't know, untill we know to do one thing superbly well!

in this section i learn that most people get stuck trying to make the change from one phase to the next while others remain their whole career in the critical thinking plateaus.

Hey Anthony, great video!

I especially liked the part when you spoke about how most people forget many details so we don’t have to pressure ourselves to much with those kind of trivialities.

Your book recommendation, „willpower does not work“ also sounded very interesting i added it to my reading list.

As always: Thanks for the video!

Mark Twain summed it up well: "It is not what you do not know that will get you into trouble, it is what you know that ..."

I think critical thinking might be interpretation, creative thinking, problem solving, analysis, evaluating, and reasoning.

Hmmm, in my country (in Europe) we ask ourselves: what I should to think about it? That is critical thinking for us.

I would argue willpower can work, but it just needs to be exercised first. One way to do this is to practice control or inhibition and relaxing or disinhibition. Do this enough and your willpower will get better
