I have got to say, I’ve scoured the web for solutions to a micro stuttering issue I’ve been experiencing in every single game that I’m playing since building my new rig (long story short:1080ti, i5 8600k, 16gb ram, msi b360-a pro mobo) no dice! Fortunate to have stumbled upon your video. Just followed every instruction to the “T” and tonight I’v been playing Resident Evil 2 remake and Mass Effect Andromeda 1080p resolution, ultra setting buttery smooth. Thanks a million! Liked, subscribed, praised👍🏽

This totally fixed my micro-stutter ! I used to play Skyrim SE at 60 fps stable without any issues a week ago, then suddenly yesterday the fps fluctuates at 58~61 fps, i was crawling my skin i thought it was Skyrim causing the issue till I ran GTA V and the fps fluctuates just as Skyrim and micro-stutter had gotten worse while i was driving around. I'm glad i was patient enough to watch the whole video and followed the guide step by step. Thanks a lot man you really helped me!!! Liked & Subscribed.

This was all Side note, I don't think you mentioned this but I just found out that slideshow desktop backgrounds can cause stuttering in some games (WoW for example).

I spent months believing the problem was with the monitor, gpu or cpu but then I found your video and followed your lead, the stuttering is gone and the performance in games has increased .... you are my savior, I subscribed to your channel, thank you very much from Italy.

quite possibly the most helpful and useful fix ever. You saved me, I almost wanted to give up pc because I was getting so frustrated trying to fix these stutters. 100% noticeable difference. Thanks a million

Wow! I have a RTX 3080 and i7-8700K and was still having brief stuttering with my modded Skyrim VR. Tried so many things and then followed this video and it's noticeably improved. Did it solve every FPS loss in the game or CPU spike? No. But it got rid of some of the random CPU stuttering I was getting! Thank you so much! I don't know which change made the biggest difference but it added up to an improvement.

Just finished the video, followed every step. Thank you so much! My annoying micro stutter is finally gone, and i can enjoy my games after months of frustration. It seems windows 10 is not the best for gaming, I never had this many problems on windows 7... I really want Windows to come out with an Operating system solely for gaming.

I applied most of the settings and I manage to get my windows 11 Pro 23H2
- average measured interrupt to process latency from 10us to 2us
-average measured interrupt to DPC latency from 4us to 1.2us.
Believe the memoryusage 2 was the key change as I had not done it yet. Great video still after 4 years thank you good sir !

IT WORKS! THANKS MATE!

I didn't do all the tweaks that you showed as I'm a bit skeptic about a few.
But, Dynamic Tick commands alone fixed micro stuttering for me. NICE!

Halfway through the video the stutter stopped. My mouse was laggy, the display would freeze for a milisecond or two and the audio would strecth out to cover for it. We'll see if this solution lasts. Thanks for the video.

-Update:
It didn't fix the problem, the stuttering came back the next day. I switched to Linux and the stutter stopped. I can't be bothered to configure every single program I wish to use, so I'll give windows a second chance. Hopefully it works as intended this time.

I spent about 20 hours over 3 days trying to solve my new laptop's microstutter issue. Finally found this video, followed the steps from the first 9 mins of it and now my laptop is super responsive, plays games great and working how I expected it to when I bought it! Phew, was almost ready to give up, return it or possibly try to diagnose a hardware issue. Thank you! Liked and subscirbed!

Thanks, mate!
I have had a problem with stutters for half a year. I searched almost the entire Internet to get rid of the problem, I bought a new pc where it was similar. Thanks to your video, I can finally enjoy a smooth game. I wish I were your friend because I would like to have a beer with you. Great tutorial, nvidia should have it on its homepage. Thanks again. greetings

Amazing videos my friend, this will be extremely useful to me when I install Windows 10 2004. But in general, this is great for anyone, keep this up!

ill be damned... this worked...after months and months of hunting issues, some combination of settings here finally did it.

Im using CapFrameX to monitor stutter before and after. Peak frametimes were ~800ms, now im barely breaking 30ms.

One small side effect.... some of my windows ui effects/features are broken....a small price to pay
EDIT: I'm an idiot.... @5:48 is one feature ill be leaving on.... that is all it was

Thank you! I always appreciate a no BS detailed run through, especially when it actually leads to a solution!
