Today’s video is about Grigori “Mad Monk” Rasputin. While he did attend a monastery and portray himself as a holy man, he actually wasn’t a monk so that’s super misleading. He was actually thought to have supernatural abilities including healing. This got him into the good graces of the Russian royal family, unfortunately for them as this would one day contribute to their downfall and subsequent executions. Please enjoy the story of Rasputin and his death which included poison wine, being shot, getting beaten, and being thrown into an icy river (allegedly while still alive)!
