Creedence Clearwater Revival - Graveyard Train

Creedence Clearwater Revival is undeniably one of the greatest rock bands of all time, with an instantly recognizable, raw, bayou sound, popularized in songs like "Proud Mary" and "Green River”. Since their formation in the 1960s, CCR has sold over 50 million records, while their songs remain in heavy rotation on the radio.

Though the band only released 7 studio albums in their too-short career, Creedence had an astonishing track record: eight consecutive gold singles ("Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Green River," "Down on the Corner," "Who'll Stop the Rain," "Up Around the Bend," "Lookin' Out My Back Door," "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?") and eight consecutive gold albums. With music that sounds as fresh and compelling today as it did 30 years ago, CCR is one of a handful of bands whose entire body of work has attained true "classic" status.

Ccr is the only band I have ever been able to listen to ever song they ever recorded, without thinking I need to skip this song !
The over all greatest band ever.

Crisp fall night, got the oil lanterns lit around the yard, got a fire pit going with my dog by my side. CCR is playing from my truck. It really doesn’t get better than that.

I was born in 48 when CCR came out it was considered crossover. The entire country music folk, as well as rock and roll considered it the best ever. Some country rated it up to Hank Williams senior, most didn't rate it at all just lived it. I like every song they ever did. This is the only group that I liked everything they did. No others compare.

Every record from these guys was fucking great! NO bullshit tracks. You could play an album from these guys start to finish (& still can), absolutely fantastic, timeless music.

John Fogerty's magical guitar sounds came from a 1969 Rickenbacker 325 Sunburst guitar with the word “ACME” written on the head in yellow paint. The guitar was Fogerty's main instrument during the peak of his Creedence Clearwater Revival days and the one he played onstage at Woodstock, The Ed Sullivan Show and countless concerts all over the world.Feb 16, 2017

John Fogerty is one of the most underrated vocalists. Noone sounded like him before or since, a truly unique voice that only reveals itself more haunting through the ghostly music.
