Undeniably one of the greatest rock bands of all time, Creedence Clearwater Revival has sold over 50 million albums worldwide since their formation in the 1960s, with their songs on consistent rotation on Classic Rock radio.
This was my dad's favorite song and my grandmother would sing this to me when I was a kid. RIP to both.

My dad use to play this song on a CD back when I was in 2nd grade. I'm 28 now, my father is deceased, but those memories of CCR and my father blasting this song in his 4runner live on...Love you pops, wish you were still here..

I think this is the first song my husband taught our daughter to sing. She was born in '67 and when we would be on a road trip she would always want us to all sing this.

Isn't this just pure original music. CCR was my farorite band in the 1960's. Bought their LP's and now have their CD's. Great that one can still hear them in 2024. No sound comes near theirs.
God bless from South Africa

A damn fine band. Not over-polished, just honest, down to earth music.

My mom always had CCR blaring on the stereo when she would clean the house on Saturday. This band is in my blood and always will be.

Literalmente, ésta fue la banda de mi infancia. Mi abuelito ponía seguido sus canciones y me atraparon por completo. De ahí en adelante, conocí a muchísimas grandes bandas.
Gracias abuelito lmL.

This song always reminds me of my Mother telling me stories about picking cotton when she was only 10 yr's. Years later when she married my Father, they followed the crops from Arizona to Washington following the season. Picking fruits and citrus to chopping cotton.
Now I wished I could ask her all the questions about her life, about my Father, but that time has passed. I guess that's how it goes.
Great Leadbelly song done by CCR.

It really is incredible how many memorable songs this band has made. In such a short amount of time too.

Real music from a real band. No costumes, no makeup, no bullshit. Just great music. Their first album was one of the first ones I bought in college

Cotton Fields (The Cotton Song)" is a song written by American blues musician Huddie Ledbetter, better known as Lead Belly, who made the first recording of the song in 1940. 2020 and cotton fields are still growing
