To get the app drawer back you need to go to default launcher settings and there should be more than one lg launcher. One of them will have the app drawer with it.

any advantage using the lg stock launcher? if not just get another launcher if really need the app drawer

actually there is a setting you can put your apps drawer back. I not sure where is it, but i saw it in another video.

From what I heard the plastic covering is only on the top and bottom of the phone to absorb impacts and for cell signal.

You can get a app drawer by changing this settings . Check the settings option

Nice video. I enjoy it. My advice to you is to use Google Now Launcher and there you have app drawer. :)
