the big 2 reasons I'll buy it is 1. Note 7 is gone, 2. lg v20 not only has good sound but also things I used to love on my ex Note 4 like removable battery and IR blaster

This phone as got everything.. OK not water resistant but I will take that removal battery every day of the week. Comes with 64g storage a DAC processor and LG have a brilliant camera..shame it's not in Europe.

I bought a brand new one this year. I love how many features it has, newer phones can't do a lot of the things the V20 can do, like work as a universal remote, switch apps with a single touch and pick up FM radio. I also like the cameras, they may not be quite as good as the newest stuff, but they're very good. And it was cheap, $200.

No one ever talks about manual mode in their camera reviews. Shooting on my V10 in manual and RAW I don't think any of my friends iphones, galaxies etc come close. Would be great to see a "pro-mode" comparison between the big hitters...

I'm so glad to see at least one phone still keeping the removable battery and microSD expansion. I hope this hardware minimalism movement is a shortlived phase and we see a return of these things.

LG V20 things I like Camera/Dac/Removable battery. things I didn't like battery could've gone bigger 3600 or 4000mah/ Screen still LCD/ & Price.

Awesome vid man! I'm glad the V20 is coming to sprint as I missed out on the V10 and was dying for its manual camera features. How is the battery life? Will it survive a work day of use (8-9hrs) without needing a charge? I'm returning my Note 7 per the safety recall but loved the device, build, camera and battery life (lasted my work day, started with 100% and end with around 40% after streaming most the day and web browsing) and wish I didn't have to replace it but the V20 seems like an excellent option. Just unsure if the LED screen is more draining than the AMOLED (my LG G3 was decent but no where near the Note 7).

2:40 64GB of RAM not 4GB of RAM. To all those who wasted their money on a "screen protector" - please search and read about the Gorilla 4 glass this phone has. The back of the phone, or the body colors are nonsense. If you are a daily user of this phone, you will need a larger battery, which, will come with a different backing to the phone. Or, pack another battery which allows you to go from 5% battery to 100% battery in 10 seconds.... I've got the 6400mA and the phone lasts the whole day of nonstop usage as phone, emails and text messages. I didn't use the super audio features yet.

Yes, the camera in manual mode is absolutely a gem. The ability to swap batteries, add extra storage (up to 2TB) and the great camera are the only things worth getting this phone for.

FYI, my V20 arrived today with a screen protector on from factory. Seems to work great and does not visually impact anything. I'm probably still going to order a tempered glass after officia release date.

I have to agree about using manual mode for photos and video. auto mode is meh in lower light.
