How insane is it that Gerrymandering is constitutionally acceptable? It is literally redrawing district lines to disenfranchise as many voters as you can. How do we rationalize a country which enfranchises the rights of citizens to vote, but also disenfranchises as many of those voters who disagree with them that a party in power can manage?

We need a party that actually represents the working class! The GOP and corrupt corporatist DEM establishment clearly do not represent the best interests of the working class!

It doesn't matter if its Republicans or Democrats doing gerrymandering. The bigger issue is how maps are often drawn to protect incumbents. All maps nationwide should be drawn on non partisan boards with the goals of making districts more compact and maximizing competitive races. There will still be districts that won't be competitive due to the nature of who lives there but it will be better than it is now.

I hope they sue you. I’m not a Republican or Democrat and it Looks like I will be in a new area. I don’t like losing the Representaives I have. They listen and talk to me. I don’t even know who the new ones will be. But I do trust our legislatures and know it will be hard for them to do all these sections in a state this large. Even here the population has tripled since I moved here in 2004 from east Texas. I wish people would just stop the division in our country. How can they even know if they like who is over them blue or red go talk to them. They should listen they need your vote to stay in office.

Texans can take the redistricting to court. North Carolina had to redraw districts because Republicans tried the same thing there, and the courts backed the voters.

Mail in ballots doesn't expand the franchise. It just creates a situation where a lot of low information and lazy people get mobilized. But they aren't upping the info they take in to go with the access. I want people to have to get more involved than walking back and forth to their mail boxes. If they aren't willing to do more than that. Should they have it so easy?

I don't even think any Washington Republicans would want to see Texas go blue, think about it ... that would put a nail in the coffin if a state this size went blue, for the GOP. I'm a Texan, and the GOP tries to make it harder and harder to vote year to year ... I been registered to vote since 1974.
