Saif Ali Khan Attacked | Attacker Entered Room Of Saif's Son Jeh, Demanded Rs 1 Crore: Sources

The man who stabbed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan - at his home in Mumbai's posh Bandra West neighbourhood early Thursday morning - demanded a ransom of Rs 1 crore, police sources told NDTV this evening, citing a statement by a member of Mr Khan's domestic staff. The staffer - a nurse caring for Mr Khan's four-year-old son Jehangir, said the knife-wielding attacker first entered the boy's room.

Three people - Saif Ali Khan, 54, the nurse, and another staffer - were injured in the attack that followed the demand. Mr Khan was stabbed six times, resulting in injuries to his spinal cord. He was rushed to the city's Lilavati Hospital - by his son Ibrahim in an auto-rickshaw after his car was delayed.

if ot it was not a hit and the intent was just burglery then Mumbai is becoming unsafe for everyone. Even my flat was broken into for burglery, thankfully i was out of town and only a friend was staying there, he was in the bathroom when it happened and the thief got away with some cash, this happened all in a mater of minutes, three minutes to be precise and and the time by the clock was also more or less the same around 3 am. In Saifs case If the intent was solely to steal then how can the streets or for that matter any other place be ut residence or any public gathering spot of the city be any safer. Chor yah criminals toh badge lagake nai ghoomte na.
