I like making weapons from the scraps of this great tree in my back yard. After a storm a huge branch broke off so you can imagine that I have quite a bit to work with.
Last night I brought some of my projects inside. I grabbed my bo from where I left it outside the door to the back yard where the tree is. It’s still in a rough state so it’s in need of final smoothing and sanding. I thought I had grabbed on to a shaving that was hanging on still but it turned out to be a wasp! Normally I would have ignored the wasp, but I threw it downwards and noticed the cat rushing in from my periphery. Instantly I used the Gedan Zuki to block her safely. I spun the bo and found the dead wasp on the end. Sorry wasp. I was protecting my cat. Luckily I’m not allergic to insect bites etc. It burned for only a few minutes. Hope you like the little “Kung Fu” story!
