I already notice and read these signs in lots of people because I'm autistic. I can't understand what they feel from what they are saying, I can't empathise, I don't recognise the signs automatically like lots of people, but I can see patterns. Body language is a pattern, it's the same with most people, so I learnt it and use that to understand how people are feeling and which learned response to use. The only thing I disagree with is the eye contact being a sign of lying. It depends on what the person is doing throughout the whole conversation. If they don't maintain eye contact most of the time and look around while they are speaking, but then suddenly don't break eye contact, then they may be lying (reason being they are looking for signs in the other person of the lie being detected). However, inversely, if someone is making lots of eye contact throughout the convo then breaks off to look somewhere else when they are speaking then they could be lying - although it is important to pay attention to where they are looking. Looking up and to their right (I think) is a sign of them thinking of a lie to make up while looking down could mean they're trying to recall a memory and thus not lying (I think, I'm not as good with this one. I know where they are looking has an effect - something to do with the two sides of the brain, but I tend to forget this one).

Eye contact is a sign of confidence and extremely long eye contact is a sign that the person is romantically attracted to you.
Lack of eye contact is sign of lying instead of extremely long eye contact.
