Hi ladies! I'm a mom of a gay daughter and we live here in the deep south. When she came out 4 years ago it wasn't taken well by most. Right now, my family that knows doesn't talk to us and the rest are simply in the dark. It's great to see you have so many loved ones there for you. I have always loved and accepted my daughter from day one. How could I not? Hopefully one day things will change but only time will tell. You are both sweethearts and I wish you all the happiness in the world!

My dads reaction to me coming out to him was “Ive know since you were five. This is nothing new. Just choose someone nice please”
While my moms was “oh my god you’re gay? I had no idea!” And to this day she still says “when you have a girlfriend- or boyfriend! You never know what can change-“ and it’s annoying as hell, especially since I have a partner.

Your mom having trouble speaking at the end though "I have mouth"...."problems" is relatable af. Love this video! I just recently came out to both of my parents- both were very accepting of it, but the funny thing is I think they would have been less surprised if I had done it a year ago, since I dated a boy earlier this year (evidently 'bisexual' wasn't on their radar). I'd love to see more videos with your mom, she's awesome!
