Tip on the big fire guy, dont roll his attacks, jump them and use something heavy to stun him. It takes 3 stuns to knock him down and doing a crit on him does over 40k. Do that twice and he's done.

Sometimes I think Miyazaki put wasp enemies in this game, because he saw Charlie get charged by a wasp while playing dark souls and thought. "Hmmm. I should do that."

The DLC may as well be another full game. This is what DLC should aspire to be. Ffs im gonna have to do a third and fourth run just to explore everything.

pontiff sulivahn has been working out since his demise in DS3 😂. jokes aside, Rellana took me more tries THAN MALENIA. and she is the most recent boss i kill. i know Miyazaki said at least 5 boss at the same level or above malenia’s difficulty when interviewed.

and…i dont know wether or not he counted this one but im for one counting it 😅

Rellana has to be my “ideal” favorite boss in the whole franchise (by far because i havent finnished the dlc):
- difficulty because of moveset
- 2 phase 1 HP bar
- theres no one weird moveset that is the whole difficulty of the bossfight (I dont like how Malenia’s difficulty is all about waterfowl. you master that and the boss is at least 80% easier)
- no gimmick (like divine dragon, rykard, wolnir, bed of chaos, Yhrom, etc. some are still cool bosses but wont be my favorite)
- no weird dellayed attack (like Margitt and Swamp boss in Lies of P)
- no gang fight (like ornstein/smoug, godskin duo, or even renalla summoning servants)
- multiple damage type (phys, magic, fire)
- great rewards after killing her (her weapon is nuts)

she checks every single one of my boxes. i think the one close to that is Sword Saint Isshin but lightning reversal is just a gimmick that made the boss easier. and PERSONALLY i dont like it (i know its cool and a lot of people liked it)

It's very frustrating watching Charlie leave behind enemy drops multiple times....and also ignore plants and stuff :P
