I am British and I am disgusted by the mob drunken behaviour. Disgusting and shaming. No excuse for it and people should stop defending it. Bloody grow up and have some self respect and dignity.

I sympathise with the Canarians. It is more or less the same problem as UK has with 2nd homes. They do nothing to help the local economy but cause problems for the local people.
Add to that mix the yob factor of some visitors and it is no wonder there is resentment.

I'm working class through and through, he isn't being classist on these issues, he's being truthful, noone should want to lose control to the point of recklessness,
Too much drink causes destruction everywhere it follows.

It’s not classist at all to be disgusted by loutish behaviour by British people abroad. The very idea that he thinks working class people find it more acceptable to behave in this manner is insulting.

Not all of Zante is full of Brits acting like this. It’s only in Laganas which is full of bars plying cheap booze and constant partying.

The stag parties and lad weekends in Budapest are out of control. There’s just this level of entitlement and like who do you think you are. They get STIs and then bring them back where they’re staying and then you have to hear about their stupidity because they’re soo loud and just take over.

Not all Brits but when the venues are known to advertise for bachelor/ bacherlorette parties for the money they know will be spent, and carry on advertising, knowing these young people will drink and then misbehave who is to blame, the young people or the industry it's self. No one is forcing them to provide alcohol to these parties. Stop enabling for profit.

Im from Tenerife and WE ARE NOT AGAINST TOURISM. We are against that is making poor our locals. Prices are getting high because of tourism and people from here can't afford that. Easy to understand.

Tourists said "increase your prices".. but... What about our people? We are working for the same money. Salaries are not growing. We want equality and regularization. Thats it.

Is every gb news presenter a bit short behind the ears?

As an American, the British Lads are a bit loud and rambunctious when booze is involved and this is a bit overblown but that guy to say, "Why do you hate your countrymen so much?" Was the dumbest question and clear indication he lost this debate.

It’s there country and we have to respect what they want. For us it is a fun holiday destination but for them it is there home and a lot of holiday makers don’t respect other countries rules and values.

Aussie here, I grew up in a huge drink and larrikin culture, Brits are great fun in Britain, however on holiday I will avoid destinations (hotels, bars) anywhere "popular" to Brits on holiday.

This presenter needs to be more professional and wipe the smirk off his face. He seems to think that drunks are funny.

No one mentions all the people from European countries coming here and buying houses. The government should create a resident law, this is a small island its impossible to live here, we want to keep our culture and identity. If this continues like that in 20 years we the canarian people would be the minority in our proper land. Tourist are more than welcome but not to come and live here or buy properties here.

Will the Spanish government raise the minimum wage for workers out of their profits or will the tourists have to pay premium prices for food/drink excursions etc for a better quality of life for residents? I’ve yet to see any government put their hands in their own pockets
