In this video, Austin breaks down the production of Nightbreaker's new single, Waiting For You. The song takes inspiration from anthemic pop artists such as One Republic, Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, and more. This video breaks down how to produce a song with huge, driving drums, layer thick and lush bass, build a wall of sound with guitars and synths, and dial in vocals that cut straight through a dense mix.

Austin, I was just over at a Sabrina Carpenter vid listening to her producer Jack Antonoff. I spent five minutes with the man talking about euphoric euphoria and the sounds of angels and blah blah blah and how great blah Then I came here and in about 5 minutes I'm in the middle of a session and the explanation of one of the most sought-after types of songs in the music industry today, Anthemic Pop. All this just to say, thank you for being real and not wasting our time.

By the way, I‘ve seen you get a lot more sophisticated with your EQ moves over the last year or so. Would it be a big ask to perhaps put a video on the to-do list for like „how to eq in pop music“ where you go over respective instruments and dial in the EQ live so we can see your thought process? That would be awesome! Thanks for considering!

I love this style! Can you do a video breaking down how to make these sort of granulized, spacey, ambient synths in Serum that really add that sparkly atmosphere to the sound? I’ve been dying to try to figure out how to nail that sound
