Investing in a Roth IRA is a great option because it's funded with after-tax dollars, allowing your contributions to grow tax-free over time. When you retire and start taking money out, you won’t owe taxes on your withdrawals, helping you hold onto more of your savings. I personally retired with $5 million.

The increasing tax rate is the reason I rolled over my 401k to a ROTH. I wouldn't want to be paying taxes on current income on withdrawals made from my retirement account. I have been maxing out my 401k, 457b and Roth IRA for the past decade. Two incomes doing the same. Grinding down hard in my 20s-30s to let it ride into my 40s and beyond.

I'm convinced that investing 50k-100k in the right company before it goes big is more important than saving for retirement. However, picking the right company is so hard. I have around 200k in a HYSA and want to invest it. What are the best opportunities now?

I have been retired for five years now. Although I've been adhering to the 4% rule, things are challenging as I did not anticipated. I have another $460K to put into stocks. How can I profit from the market's resurgence.

I need a way to draw up a plan to set up for retirement while still earning passive income to meet my day to day need and also get charged lesser taxes even while in a higher tax bracket.

This is my fifth year after retirement. I’ve been following the 4% rule thing, but this isn’t really how hard I expected things to be. I still have about $460k outside funds in my IRA to invest in stocks. Pls how do I take advantage of the market turnaround?

As an investing enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I do have about $700k amount of capital to start up but I have no idea what strategies and direction I need to approach to help me make decent returns

One common strategy is to start early and regularly contribute to retirement accounts like 401(k)s or IRAs. Diversifying your investments,

Investing in various sources of income that are independent of the government should be the most essential thing on everyone's mind right now. especially in light of the global economic crisis at the moment. I have $560, 000 sitting in savings searching for the best method to enter these markets. This is still an excellent moment to invest in equities, gold, silver, and digital currencies.

I've consulted a financial analyst since COVID began. Investing in trending companies appears straightforward, yet timing is crucial. With a dormant $300K reserve, my advisor manages entry and exit points for my portfolio, leading to over a million dollars in accumulation since then.

How do you feel about purchasing rental properties as a fixed-income vehicle for retirement? Basically investing less in mutual funds in order to pay cash on a rental property. It seems like the rental market doesn't fluctuate nearly as much as the stock market and you can always sell if you need to. I'm still paying off my debt so I'm not investing yet, just working on ideas.

They should have a lot more of that in intermediate bonds (this is exactly what bonds are for, for INCOME), they are in the 60s, they can't afford the risk of growth funds. If there is a 50% market downturn then what?

At 1:01, Dave recommends four funds: 1) Growth and income, 2) Aggressive Growth, 3) International, and 4) a Growth fund. All of these would seem to move in fairly similar directions and likely all got clobbered when markets collapsed in March 2020. I don't think this is a good way for folks to approach retirement investing.

Many have looked to dividend stocks for income and relative safety; however, when blue-chip companies such as Boeing and Ford cut their dividends to zero, investors must realize that dividend income cannot be counted on. Owning a company's bonds in lieu of its stock provides greater protection of income and principal while still providing the opportunity for capital appreciation. In addition, corporate bonds have varying levels of risk / return opportunities, which investors can use to select which bonds best fit their investing goals.

David Marvin Willis recommends diversifying income streams independent of government reliance, particularly during the current economic challenges posed by the pandemic, as a prudent and wise decision.

I like Index Funds. Very cost effective.

Stocks and ETFs are a very good starting point for investing, reviewing my decision to go into the market 2 years ago with lower than $2k but I have over $300k in profits and still growing. Think far and long term

Too much risk. Are you serious? Mutual funds could fall very fast. As long as she diversified her income, invests in index funds, and invests a bigger portion of her money into more low risk low reward funds they will be okay.

When somebody is already living in retirement, wouldn't it be safer to allocate a third into a growth fund, a third into a balanced fund, and a third into cash assets? A retiree doesn't have the luxury of time to overcome a downturn in the financial market that a 40 year old would.
