I’m glad i found this video. I will break up my Calcium supplement to take half in morning and half at dinner.
I’m take calcium from oyster shells.
Don’t have any problems with stomach acid. Don’t take tums or Rolaids .

I was turned on to this calcium because I was having a lot of trouble with my shoulder. I sleep on my left side and so at the age of 50 my shoulder was really hurting when I had to raise it up grab something or any kind of strength movement like pushup or bench press. I'm not a body builder but I have played sports fairly successfully. I got to the point where I could not do a single pushup. The pain zapped all strength. A lady I know said she had back and knee pains that were close to forcing surgery for her but she started Advacal ultra 1000 in white yellow bottle. She said a few months later realized her knee and back were not hurting. I did the same this past spring. I started in late March and by mid may my left shoulder pain was nearly gone and I could do pushups and weight lifting. The calcium is listed as calcium hydroxide and calcium oxide. Do you know anything about this type of calcium or this product. No other calcium product I read lists calcium this way.

I'll be digressing here... Because I was inspired to write about how I eat...
But calcium carbonate is best with food, and split the dose you take daily, by two meals.

30 - 50ml olive oil drink messes up with my stomach digestion. I mean I'm able to take that with food, like you recommend for HOW TO TAKE CALCIUM CARBONATE.
ALSO WITH TWO DIFFERENT MEALS OVER THE DAY.

Yeah I thought about capsing that, just so that I don't split the attention too much. I got epilepsy, so I'm using keto diet.

Got to try some spinach again.
I had period when I ate cheese, but it's quite heavy on proteins, and rolled over my keto numbers. I got the device to measure the level, because it's by the doctor and the nutritionist having this wing open up for the diet.
I'm kinda greatful, it inspires me, and records some info for what makes epilepsy and how to deal with it.
I appreciate the support anyways...

I guess I digressed a bit, because I'd like to say something about the diet.

Because I can eat about 50g of 80 - 90% over the day to keep some level of ketosis.
If I have all the meals just split into two groups, morning and evening meals it spikes out over the device's measured levels and shows up like I've lost the keto measures.

Even if common cheese is easy to use, but eating it as meat still fills me up, and fits through the digestion. Going for more nuts than chia seeds and walnuts/almonds is almost throwing in bit too much fibres.

Though... I don't have that bonus piece of meat every day...

Then again about the times I eat, as it seems to be easier for me to take breakfast in the early morning, and about 6 - 13 hours later for evening's meal.

Hi Dr Mandell, Thank you for all your helpful videos and wise advice!
I have a question about spinach. You mentioned it as a good source of calcium. I eat a lot in smoothies with banana, tumeric and beet powder, dates lemon juice and other ingredients. In another video you said raw spinach is a high oxalate food and can stop the absorbion of calcium. I do have osteoporosis and am trying to find a plan to help my bones so do I exchange spinach for kale? Spinach is better when steamed?
I take calcium citrate. Silica with collagen.

Vit D vit B
Omega 3 fish oils
Zinc Now know not with calcium! TY!
Quercetin I do push ups planks, squats leg and back lifts etc....theraband foot stretches. I teach ballet. I am 63. Any tips to improve my bone density ?

Please help me. I have breast cancer and take hormone blocker. Doc just said take calcium. So otherdoc on you tube says calcium supplement is bad for you. I was just wondering whitch one to take. I unfortunately also take omeprozol Been trying to stop but can’t. Dexa scan shows osteopenia

Doctor could you recommend the best form of calcium to take because there are different types of calcium available in the market not all are good some are very bad for health because they cause heart attack for example calcium carbonate. I'm 36 years old male i had my bmd test done day before yesterday the score came out to be - 2.5 which is a osteopenia score very close to becoming osteoporosis n it absolutely shocked me because i was thinking that i was very healthy since I've not suffered any major health ailment for the past 13 yrs now my major concern is if i don't do anything to fix my brittle bone condition then with increasing age it will become even more life threatening problem
