FFD, what a TANK ! So mad at myself for not watching the forecast. It was mid-40s and SO sunny yesterday, but I had made plans with others. Today... nothing planned but it's back to mid-30s, overcast and may snow. Winter can lull us into thinking that "it's not quite right yet" - and then Mother Nature reminds us that she can give us some good days all year if we pay attention. You live up to your moniker and your channel's fans appreciate your consistency getting out there. ☮

Thanks for getting me off the couch and on the lake! Hooked one of his brothers and had another one crack me off on 4X, thinking I may have had a wind knot. Those balance leeches on the strip did it so I guess I owe you a thank you for the tip! Black was the color of choice for me, love that lake too!

Hi Dan I’m getting ready for some bass in beds. March, red crawfish square bill crank bait, lipless red with flash and a whacky worm color purple. I can see color but I see a blend of color but I get the exact color wrong so I label my bait boxes. It’s time for some pre spawn or spawning bass that protect their beds.

You talk about “balanced leach” a lot so I looked it up to find out what it means but haven’t found a description. They look a lot like Wooly buggers. Sorry to “bug” you for what is probably a common sense thing but could you please explain what makes a balanced leach a balanced leach. Thanks Dan
