UN warns against deliberate attacks on peacekeepers as Netanyahu tells them 'get out of danger zone'

Benjamin Netanyahu has urged the United Nations to remove its peacekeepers from parts of Lebanon after Israeli troops breached one of their positions.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said peacekeepers in Ramyah, southern Lebanon, were in shelters when two Israeli tanks "forcibly entered" their position, requesting that the base "turn out its lights".

UNIFIL said several rounds were fired, emitting smoke near the base, causing 15 peacekeepers to suffer from skin irritation and "gastrointestinal reactions".

UN didn’t enforce UN Security Resolution 701! Hezbollah agreed to stay South of the River in 2006!! They broke the Agreement since 2006 and the UN 🇺🇳 watched and didn’t enforce the mandate. Now IDF will do what UNIFIL should have done since 2006.

What purpose has this force ever served.
It has been in place and watched over the complete non compliance with 1701 by Hezbollah and in fact has extended to every part, every village and town to establish a military prescence constantly firing rockets and missiles into the northern Israeli communities with terrorist infiltrations, digging tunnels to the border.
So I state again what use id
Its very situation acts as with civilians as a means for Hezbollah to accuse the IDF when they retaliate against the terrorist actions.
All the claims that the IDF is directing fire at UNIFIL is disingenuous when Hezbollah is adjacent to their post, under them and with homes next to.
UNIFIL in reality is acting as a non neutral line of defence for the thye are well aware of that reality.
