The top of the blade is thinner than the teeth not the other way round i have been using one of these for years now cut more wood than i could even guess at still orignal blade, its an amazing tool for sure.

I second that... I've gone through so many different saws in my system, Silky is awesome. The Silky Bigboy is great for camping, the Silky GomBoy is great for backpacking.
