INFJs and Psychic Gifts

INFJ personality types and INFP personality types are two of the most intuitive personality types in the MBTI personality type system. Many people believe that the intuition of INFJ personality types and INFP personality types comes from both types being very observant, and subconsciously picking up on physical cues. While this is partly true, there is more to the intuition of INFJ personality types and INFP personality types than information that comes through only the five senses.

To understand the whole picture of the intuition of INFJ personality types and INFP personality types, it can be helpful to look at the difference between “first impressions,” and immediate gut-level intuitive hits. First impressions are mental and observational, and they are formed by attaching an interpretation of someone’s appearance and/or behavior to the conscious, rational observations of that person’s appearance and/or behavior. Immediate gut-level intuitive hits are not a mental exercise, and they don’t form as a result of the gathering of information by the mind. They occur outside of the five senses.

INFJ personality types and INFP personality types may feel an immediate gut-level intuitive hit in in the body, or they may hear a voice, or a phrase, or song lyrics, or they may see an image in their mind, or just know something, without being able to explain how they know it. INFJ personality types and INFP personality types experience clairaudience, claircognizance, and clairvoyance in much higher numbers than others in the general population. This is not talked about that much in mainstream society because psychic gifts are not often recognized as valid, which means that a core part of INFJ personality types and INFP personality types is not often recognized as valid. This forces INFJ personality types and INFP personality types to seek out
teachings and tools on their own.

Growing up with so many extra senses was scary, lonely and isolating, i was so happy to find out i wasn't alone, but always hungry for deep conversations about it, but unable to find anyone intelligent enough to understand it all on a deep, very deep level. Whenever I was with my ex I would suddenly cough and get dust allergy. Weirdly later after we broke up I learned that I have no allergy and even before breakup I would never cough in other dusty places unless my ex was next to me. It took me a long time to figure it out and accept it.

Another time I sat in a temple in a village in India and suddenly heard "Argentina" very loudly in my head. A few minutes later I get stopped on a street by a beggar wearing a tshirt that says "Argentina".

I can't explain these things but they happen A LOT

For me, the intuitional thing overrides ordinary observation. I call it a flash or pop from what I call my subconscious. There will be a visual or internal, audio/verbal input. All those clairaudience, clairvoyance overrides happening on a kind of motionless, split screen about a person or phenomenon. In Carlos Castaneda speak, it stops me and I notice. It may not always make sense, but it will at some stage fall into place further down the line. The "Aha" moment. Secrets always surface.

An immediate intuitive gut level hit is not to be ignored I've ignored it once and it didn't work out well if it's a dangerous situation I will actually feel ill but know that I'm not sick but really better go and go now at all cost

I analyze everything. I gather all the data, lights, colors, face expressions, body language, voices... Till I reach to the point they don't know about themselves. All in silence.

But i actually have weird feelings when someone or something is dangerous ( my chest get heavy, my heart beats so fast.
Sometimes I got dreams before things happen in reality.

ohmygod, that helped me a lot. it IS about the kind of person they are... it's not about wether or not we can communicate with each other well... it's usually about our incompatibility about how we conduct ourselves and our lives. this make sense now. i store so many of these intuitive feeling and sometimes gaslight myself to pursue the relationship still even though later on i will come down to incompatibility. something about the person that they are doesn't sit well with me and how i conduct myself.

I was thinking about how first impressions aren't always what they seem just yesterday. Then this pops up? psychic? haha I like to think so! Its helping me understand whats going on with an INFJ I hold closely to my heart (INFP geezer me)

My psychic hit is stronger towards negativity. It also doesn't have to be on first meet too.

My right eye will twitch if someone i n the area, job, or group of friends has a problem with me. I didn't understand this for a big part of my life, but now I know that if it occurs, it's time to focus on who.

When I visited family, with a possibility to have to live there, I hugged everyone in the family. When I hugged my aunt, my eye twitched. I knew she was going to beef with me eventually and it happened.
