I married a hard working almost poor man who I believe was and is still very much on his deen. I can care less about how much money he made. He completes my deen and the small things he does for me is worth more than a fancy car or a shiny rock on my finger. We struggle here and there sometimes, yeah we have to share a car, and yes we both have jobs to pay the bills. Obviously if you want to start a family there should be some financial foundation but being rich isn't a requirement in Islam in order to get married. I'm not here to boast but sisters and PARENTS please, lets be for real here. Look for deen, look for manners, and good character. Even if he collects garbage. 😉

My sisters wedding was $70k, the sad thing was that their marriage lasted for 7 months ...subhanAllah and my other step sister wedding was $15k and she still married with 2 kids . So I believe In very simple marriage are more successful.

A big marriage is small to Allah, but a small marriage is big to Allah. Marry halal. not with music and dancing. Don't forget music is haram. People wanna show others how expensive their marriage is. But show to Allah that you are ready to complete your deen. marry in halal way. So Allah will be proud. And Allah will protect the marriage Inshallah. It doesn't matter what people think about your marriage or how expensive it is.

aslam alaikum great video once again...I myself believe that the less you spend on weddings the more barakah, however, nowadays weddings are getting so expensive and I do believe that those weddings do not last long....following the prophet (SAW) sunnah is the best way to prevent divorces...

I completely disagree with taking large amounts from the husband during the wedding times and even after. My opinion is 'a healthy marriage is better than a wealthy wedding'. These days all you hear is weddings costing a bomb! I mean of course it's important to get married to a guy that works, so he can provide for you and look after you, but running after large amounts of money, land and gold is just wrong (I think).
