My uncle died in 2019 due to the lung cancer agent orange caused to him. It made his life miserable up until the end.

The poisoning of Alexei Navalny was in August this year. I think you may have confused this with the Salisbury poisoning in 2018 that also used Novichok. It was intended for Sergei Skirpal but resulted in the death of a local woman who had no connection to Skirpal.

We not only poisoned Vietnam with Agent Orange but our own soldiers. My dad was one of them. He got malaria in the Pacific during WWII which kicked in every time we moved and since he was career military we moved a lot. Then he suffered all kinds of issues from Agent Orange exposure which eventually killed him. He also served during the war in Korea and just came home with a genuine respect for the Korean people. He was a terrific husband, man, Marine, and dad.

Never ever mix chlorine bleach with anything, but especially don’t mix it with ammonia. I made that mistake once when cleaning. Almost died

What gripes me is when they only say US troops were affected by Agent Orange. Australian and New Zealand troops were too. As well as South Vietnam citizens.

That was interesting. One on biological agents would be interesting too.

It makes sense that Hitler was afraid to use sarin as a weapon. As a soldier in WWI he was blinded for weeks after a gas attack. The experience may have somehow filled even a murderer like him with some empathy - at least for soldiers on the field; he may have feared his own troops would have sarin used against them. Of course, amny such empathy didn't extend to those poor souls gassed to death in Nazi concentration camps (though that was more Himmler's idea than Hitler's but Hitler didn't stop it either).

Before my grandfather passed away, he opened up to me about Agent Orange. He was there when it dropped. It dropped on everyone in the area. He said it was like colored rain that burned. He described the scene from the floors of the ground under the trees as he looked towards the sky.
When he returned, my father was born with a whole in his heart. My grandfather had two healthy daughters before him.
Growing up, I never understood the burns on his arm. Shortly before he died, I finally understood. He received a lot of hush money from the government. It was a dying confession that weighed heavy on his mind and affected his life until the end. He was drafted and sent away from his family. He never wanted to go but became a med solider. He helped a lot of those effected.

The "chlorine smell" of a pool is chloramines. The product of the reaction of chlorine with sweat/urine. This is different from using chlorine gas as a chemical weapon.

My father just passed away in February from medical conditions and complications caused by agent orange. My siblings and I all have neurological issues but have been told by the VA that they only recognize a very select few issues and only if it was your mother who was exposed. My father felt guilt that there was a chance his service may have caused our issues.

We need to talk more about the affect of these chemicals and how it continues to kill men and women long after the war.

They have also established a direct link between exposure to Agent Orange and diabetes.

Agent Orange killed my cousin. He was a grunt in Nam. It took many years of agony for him to die. He was a really nice guy. Killed by his own country.
